Training

For nearly 100 years, the Junior League of Tulsa (JLT) has been dedicated to training women volunteers. Each year, members are required to take part in league-wide training initiatives that help them bring about lasting and meaningful change to our community.

Our Training programs are presented in a variety of formats, both informational, exposure, and hands-on experiences. Our training curriculum is based on members’ feedback, League needs, as well as societal and political topics. Historically training focuses on life, League and leadership – topics include meeting management, communication styles, personal enrichment and professional development. Members also gain experiential training through their self-selected volunteer roles each year, serving in both internal and external capacities.
