Training Education & Achievement

The Junior League of Tulsa (JLT) is committed to providing training opportunities for our members that will help them to become committed, strong, and effective leaders, collaborators, and volunteers.

To ensure this commitment to training, the JLT has a Training, Education & Achievement (TEA) Committee who plans, coordinates, and implements high-quality training opportunities throughout the year. JLT members are required to participate in trainings throughout the year to meet their training obligation.

JLT training opportunities focus on multiple areas such as professional development, philanthropy, non-profit management, community needs, cultural awareness and volunteer sensitivity, leadership, and health and well-being.

These training opportunities are important to the JLT mission of developing the potential of women and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.
