Angela Surratt Named to Oklahoma Magazine’s 40 Under 40 Class of 2026
The Junior League of Tulsa is proud to celebrate Angela Surratt on being named to Oklahoma Magazine’s 40 Under 40 Class of 2026.

Angela serves as Workforce Development Manager at Ascension St. John, where she designs and implements programs that create career pathways, strengthen the healthcare workforce, and connect schools, communities, and hospital leaders. Her work reflects a strategic, systems-level approach to impact—focused on building long-term opportunity and stability at scale.
At this stage in her career, Angela made the intentional decision to invest in both her professional growth and community involvement.
“I wanted to connect with like-minded business and community women, allowing me to learn and expand my network,” she shares. “Plus, I love community service.”
As part of the Junior League of Tulsa’s 2025-26 Provisional class, Angela is engaging in training designed to prepare members for effective service and leadership while building meaningful relationships within her cohort.
“I’ve spent time understanding the work and 100+ year history of the Junior League of Tulsa while making sister friends in my small group.”
The Junior League of Tulsa develops women leaders through hands-on experience, training, and collaboration—an approach that aligns naturally with Angela’s long-term goals.
“I see the Junior League of Tulsa further enhancing my growth as a leader through philanthropy, training and professional development, as well as leadership in action through committee work,” she says. “One day, I see myself leading a committee or being in leadership within this organization.”
For women considering how to grow their impact, Angela offers this perspective:
“Know who you are and what you bring. Research the organization, understand its ‘why,’ and then use this opportunity as a chance to grow. As women and individuals, we must be constant learners so that one day we can teach—so approach every situation with a student mindset.”
Angela’s recognition and perspective reflect the kind of leaders who are drawn to the Junior League of Tulsa—women committed to growth, service, and meaningful community impact.
