President’s Society Membership Benefits JLT
Meet an accomplished, motivated woman making a difference in our community and odds are, she’s a Junior League of Tulsa (JLT) active or sustaining member. For more than 90 years, JLT has prepared its members to accomplish one vital mission—to improve the Tulsa community through volunteer service. Today, with laser-like focus, JLT remains committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.
The President’s Society, formed in 2014–15, offers members and sustainers a unique way to support an organization that is focused on transforming the lives of women and children in transition.

Mary Beth Nesser, JLT’s 2015–16 treasurer, says it’s important for JLT members and sustainers to support the President’s Society. “It is a great way to provide financial support to our committees and programs and also ensure tickets to our fantastic fundraising events. Members of the President’s Society secure tickets to Holiday Market, Gem Gala, and Mentorship Luncheon and provide much-needed and appreciated financial support to our endowment, building fund, and various training and programming events,” she says.
