Join us for our League-Wide Kickoff Social, beginning with a “Pies and Prosecco” cocktail hour on Wednesday, August 17th at Take 2 Cafe, located in downtown Tulsa at 309 S. Main Street.  There will be a pre-tasting of the cafe’s specialty pies, from chef Tom Butcher, previously of Impressions Restaurant.

The cocktail hour will be 6:00 p.m. at Take 2: A Resonance Cafe, and from there members will split up at 7:00 p.m. to go to one of the following locations for dinner:

-Dilly Diner

-El Guapo’s

-Albert G’s

-Tallgrass Prairie Table

-Yokozuna

The Resonance Center for Women opened Take 2 Cafe in March 2016. JLT has been a community partner to Resonance for more than 20 years. Resonance provides intervention, prevention, and support services for women seeking self-sufficiency. In 2013, to supplement its work with Resonance, JLT created a taskforce, later the Social Venture Committee, charged with researching and developing a proposal for a possible business project that would help transition women from the justice system back into the community. The Committee recommended a food truck, and eventually, in 2015, Resonance adapted the Social Venture Committee’s recommendation of a food-related business and moved to open Take 2 in downtown Tulsa.
