Hello, sustainers!

Welcome to autumn 2015! Autumn is my favorite season of the year. For me it means cooler weather, football, beautiful foliage, pumpkin spice lattes, and the opportunity to start a new JLT year! The Sustainer Engagement committee has been busy planning our new year, and we have several fun activities scheduled for you.

We have added three new members to our Sustainer Engagement committee for 2015–16. Ellen Fuller is leading our Restaurant Club, replacing Ann Foster who moved to the Dallas area in June. Ashleigh Boedeker is assuming the lead for Catch Up Over Cocktails, replacing Leslie Frazier. We have also added Carla Gilbert to our committee. She will serve as our Connections chair. As Connections chair, Carla will reach out to Sustainers who have had significant life events. A special thanks to Ann and Leslie for their service on our committee. We will miss both of you!

Please save the date for our Fall Party. It will be Thursday, November 5 at Co Edwards’ house. Invitations will be mailed in early October.

Our interest groups—Restaurant Club, Lunch Club, Book Club, and Catch Up Over Cocktails—all have full schedules for the remainder of 2015. While each club appeals to different groups of sustainers, they all have several common denominators:

• Friendships—old and new
• Continued engagement with JLT
• Fun!

I hope you will consider becoming involved in one of these groups. We are also open to creating additional interest groups. Please contact me if you have an idea!
