Apply for Centennial Project Partnership

Making a difference in our community and need support?

The Junior League of Tulsa wants to provide a rewarding volunteer opportunity for our members and provide a unique gift to the community through a special Centennial Project Partnership. The goal of the partnership is to celebrate the 100 years of service that the Junior League of Tulsa has given to the community of Tulsa. We are looking for a two-fold purpose: 1) allows our members to be involved in a significant way and 2) properly aligns with our mission statement of working to end the cycle of poverty through hands-on education and community based programs.

Access our online form here.

If you have a project or organization in Tulsa that is filling a gap in our community that is not being met, apply today to partner with the Junior League of Tulsa.

The Junior League of Tulsa, Inc., is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. Our past and current partners have included The Ronald McDonald House, Mayfest, Philbrook Museum of Art/St. Francis Hospital, Resonance Center for Women, Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma, Food on the Move, and many others. The background has been, and will continue to be, helping to end the cycle of poverty for women and children in the Tulsa community through education, food, art programs, local schools, or women in transition programs. We are proud of our heritage of effective community service and excited about the new opportunities to come.

As a part of our centennial celebration, we want to give back to the community that we love so much, and benefit Tulsans for generations to come. The Centennial Project Partnership seeks to support a meaningful project that addresses a much needed issue in our community!

Apply Today

Thank you for reaching out to the Junior League of Tulsa (“JLT”) to apply for consideration as the Centennial community project partner. We are excited to review your project needs and wanted to share the following guidelines regarding project application, selection, and other considerations.

  • We welcome applications from all organizations, but ask that you share proof of your status as a 501(c)3 organization in the state of Oklahoma. If you do not have that status in Oklahoma, please provide a short explanation as to why.
  • Projects are intended to provide partnership, NOT solely fundraising dollars or volunteers for a fundraising event.
  • Proposed project should be a large-scale, community solution that our organization can help develop and/or implement during the Centennial year. No special events or recurring volunteer avenues will be selected.
  • Applications are due by Saturday, January 28, 2023.  At that time all initial applications will be reviewed and Junior League reserves the right to continue the application process until the project partnership is selected.

If you have any additional questions about the above guidelines, please feel free to contact the Centennial project chairs at 100years@jltulsa.org.
